SmallieSaver preparing the baked onions.  These were done as usual.  We split the sweet onion, dump in some butter, add in about a few hundred cloves of garlic, and top it off with some white wine.  FANTASTIC.  Bake these for about 45-50 minutes over medium hot coals.  When the onions caramelize, they are done.
Joe and Tony..............lounging around camp.  We did a lot of this.  This trip was definitely refreshing, and a huge change from the spring trips.
A cool morning picture.  This was the morning we left on our daytrip to Ester.  On that trip, we would travel from Zephyr on Saganaga to Ester, Hansen, and Link.  We fished Link and Ester, but not Hanson.  Link and Ester proved to be tough.  On the US side of Cypress, we also tried the humps and submerged ledges, catching only a couple fish.  Fall fishing is TOUGH.
All the guys at Monument Portage.  From the Left to Right in the back.  Geo, Tony, SmallieSaver, and CHMS.  Front.....Joe and Rick.  Good crew.  Like I said earlier, I'd like these guys to come back in the spring and HAMMER the smallies.
