Alan with a decent 3lb plus smallie.  This was caught on Birch or Carp lake.  I cannot remember.  I think it was Birch.  Birch reminded me of a small lake back home........Dogwood.  Lots of standing timber.  I wonder how the timber go there.  Maybe Birch was flooded at one time........HM.....
Not sure what this is............just neat I thought.  Whenever we find water coming into a lake, we FISH it, and FISH it hard.  This produced a couple fish, but nothing spectacular.
Alan, with a baby northern.  This is actually a pretty decent northern, but as we would learn later, this was just a pup.
Monster steaks, and potatoes were on the menu for the first night.  They were completely frozen the first night, so we opted to have them on night 2.  We sliced the potatoes, added an onion, lots of olive oil butter, some special spices, and WHAM.............what a feast.
